Karate PEI Association Officials

Requirements for Provincial Referee Certifications:

  • candidates must be in good standing with their respective dojo and Karate PEI;
  • be at least 13-year-old;
  • be green belt rank or higher;
  • pass the World Karate Federation (WKF) Kumite/Kata written exams or modified provincial
    exam;
  • pass the provincial (WKF) Kumite/Kata practical exams; and
  • have a clear understanding of the responsibilities and roles of the referee, judge and match
    supervisor (KANSA).
