Requirements for Provincial Referee Certifications:
- candidates must be in good standing with their respective dojo and Karate PEI;
- be at least 13-year-old;
- be green belt rank or higher;
- pass the World Karate Federation (WKF) Kumite/Kata written exams or modified provincial
exam; - pass the provincial (WKF) Kumite/Kata practical exams; and
- have a clear understanding of the responsibilities and roles of the referee, judge and match
supervisor (KANSA).
